These devices come in Dual-In Package (DIP), Small Outline Package (SOP), Shrink Small Outline Package (SSOP), and Long Small Outline Package (LSOP). The optocouplers / photocouplers are offered with transistor, triac, high speed, Darlington, IGBT drive output, and AC input configurations. These Optocouplers / Photocouplers serve various applications such as switch mode power, battery chargers, fax modems, home appliances, telecommunications, and industry controllers.

General-Purpose Phototransistor Photocouplers

LITEON General-Purpose Phototransistor Photocouplers are designed to provide reliable optical isolation and signal transmission in a wide range of electronic applications. These LITEON devices feature a phototransistor output that enables effective switching and signal coupling between input and output circuits while maintaining electrical isolation of up to 5000VRMS. With current transfer ratios (CTR) typically ranging from 20% to over 320%, and options for single or dual-channel configurations, the photocouplers are well-suited for use in microprocessor interfaces, control systems, and data communication circuits. Many models offer compact DIP or SOP packaging, wide operating temperature ranges, and compliance with international safety standards such as UL and VDE.
