MOC30x Triac Output Photocouplers

LITEON MOC30x Triac Output Photocouplers are designed for reliable optoelectronic isolation and efficient triggering of triacs in AC power control applications. These LITEON devices feature a photodiode optically coupled to a triac driver, enabling zero-cross or random-phase switching depending on the model. With input-output isolation voltages up to 5000VRMS and compliance with safety standards like UL and VDE, these MOC30x photocouplers are ideal for interfacing microcontrollers with AC loads such as lamps, motors, and heaters. Other benefits include high off-state output terminal voltages (400V, 600V, and 800V) and a high critical rate of rise of off-state voltage (1000V/μs minimum). Compact DIP packaging and a wide operating temperature range enhance versatility in consumer and industrial electronics.

Optocouplers / Photocouplers
