In order to improve the efficiency of taping process, we will
upgrade the tape packing facilities. This upgrade will also trim
the wire lead as shown below from the photo of the New Taping.

There will be no any changes to product's electrical and
mechanical specification. The original taping materials will
also be remained unchanged. Customer could continue to apply the
same assembly process or auto insertion facility for install the
related parts.

UltraMOV 7mm Varistors

Littelfuse UltraMOV 7mm Varistors meet high peak surge current rating requirements with an operating voltage range compatible with common AC line voltages (130VAC to 625VAC). These metal oxide varistors are available in various lead forms and are rated for ambient temperatures up to +85°C with no derating. The lead-free, 7mm varistors feature operate at temperatures up to +125°C and are characterized for maximum standby current (leakage). These features make the Littelfuse 7mm UltraMOV varistor series ideal for AC line voltage applications, LED lighting applications, and more.

Electrical Vehicle AC Chargers

Littelfuse provides a wide range of products that are suitable for Electric Vehicle AC Chargers. Although simpler in nature compared to DC chargers, AC charging stations safely deliver AC power from the electrical grid into the vehicle. Due to space and weight constraints in the vehicle, on-board chargers and AC charging stations are typically limited to lower amounts of power (22kW or less), which means charging time is slow – taking several hours. These systems also rely on a vehicle’s on-board charger to enable the conversion of AC power from the grid into DC power to charge the vehicle’s battery. It’s critical that proper measures are taken to safeguard both the charger and vehicle.

Off-Board Charger Sub-Unit Power Converters

Littelfuse Off-Board Charger Sub-Unit Power Converters are required for DC charging stations capable of charging to 80% SOC in under 30 minutes. These fast-charging applications require modular power converters, which can be paralleled to cater to different power levels, thereby enabling fast charging. The most critical parameters are energy density and system efficiency. A sub-unit power converter in a DC charging station consists of an AC/DC power stage and DC/DC power stage integrated into the charging station.
