STGAP2S Single Gate Driver

STMicroelectronics STGAP2S Single Gate Drivers are used to isolate the gate-driving channel from low-voltage control and interface circuitry. The gate driver features 4A capability and rail-to-rail outputs, and it is suitable for high-power inverter applications like motor drivers in industrial applications. The device is available in two configurations. The separated output pins configuration independently optimizes turn-on and turn-off by using dedicated gate resistors. A single output pin configuration and Miller clamp function prevents gate spikes during fast commutations in half-bridge topologies. Both configurations provide high flexibility and bill of material reduction for external components.
