GS12190 Relocking Cable Equalizers

Semtech GS12190 Relocking Cable Equalizers are low-power and configurable multi-rate relocking equalizers optimized for performance at 11.88Gbps. These equalizers support rates of up to 12G UHD-SDI and can be configured to equalize or drive signals over 75Ω coaxial cable. The GS12190 equalizers are capable of achieving extremely low output jitter even at extended cable/trace lengths. These equalizers include DC restoration to compensate for the DC content of SMPTE pathological test patterns. The GS12190 also supports reclocking of DVB-ASI at 270Mbps and MADI at 125Mbps. These equalizers also consist of automatic and user-selectable output slew rate control for cable driver output. Typical applications include cameras, switchers, distribution amplifiers, and routers.
