ZBM20 12V/15V/24V 20A Buffer Modules

TDK-Lambda ZBM20 12V/15V/24V 20A Buffer Modules are designed to provide short-term hold-up or peak power for loads connected to 12VDC, 15VDC, or 24VDC AC-DC power supplies. They can supply an extra 380ms hold-up at up to 448W. During normal operation, energy is stored in the ZBM20’s electrolytic capacitors. When the AC power is interrupted for a short period, these modules continue to power the load so equipment can shut-down in a safe and controlled manner. The ZBM20 series can be set to fixed or variable buffer mode. In fixed mode, the units will provide power when the input voltage drops to 22.4V and, in variable mode, when the input decreases by 1V (24V variant only). Multiple buffer modules can be paralleled to extend hold-up time. Product status can be accessed remotely through a DC OK relay or opto-coupled signals. An output remote On/Off function prevents the unsafe discharge of stored energy.
