DRV5011 3.8mT 5.5V Hall Effect Latches

Texas Instruments DRV5011 3.8mT 5.5V Hall Effect Latch has an efficient low-voltage architecture and is designed for motors and other rotary systems. More compact systems are enabled by the output being a push-pull driver that requires no pull-up resistor. The device drives a low voltage when a south magnetic pole is near the top of the package, and the B_OP threshold is exceeded. The output stays low until a north pole is applied and the BRP threshold is crossed. This causes the output to drive a high voltage. The DRV5011 provides robust switching with the integrated Hysteresis separating B_OP and B_RP. Then alternating north and south poles are required to toggle the output. The device operates consistently across a wide ambient temperature range of –40°C to +135°C.
