Texas Instruments TUSB9261 / TUSB9261-Q1 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to serial ATA Bridge provides the necessary hardware and firmware to implement a compatible SATA 1.5-Gbps or SATA 3.0-Gbps device to a USB 3.0 bus. In addition to UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) support, the firmware of the ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller-based TI TUSB9261 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to serial ATA bridge implements the mass storage class bulk-only transport (BOT) and USB human interface device (HID) interfaces. The TUSB9261 features an integrated transceiver that supports SS/HS/FS signaling. The device also has the best in class adaptive equalizer. TI TUSB9261 is optimized for use in external HDD/SSD, external DVD, external CD, and HDD-based portable media players, while the TUSB9261-Q1 is AEC-Q100 Qualified for use in automotive applications.
