LED Lighting Solutions

Electrical Vehicle AC Chargers

Littelfuse provides a wide range of products that are suitable for Electric Vehicle AC Chargers. Although simpler in nature compared to DC chargers, AC charging stations safely deliver AC power from the electrical grid into the vehicle. Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

SMF Uni/Bi-Directional SMD TVS Diodes

Littelfuse SMF Uni/Bi-Directional SMD TVS Diodes are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. The SMF package (SOD-123FL) offers a 50% smaller footprint than the SMA package and delivers a low 1.1mm height. The SMF components are ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, V_CC bus, and other vulnerable circuits used in cellular phones, portable devices, business machines, power supplies, and other consumer applications.

Electrical Vehicle DC Fast Chargers

DC charging stations are designed to convert the electrical grid’s AC power into DC power that can then be fed directly into a vehicle’s battery system for fast charging – in 30 minutes or less. Because the conversion from AC to DC power is being done in the charging station, these units can provide higher levels of power (50kW to 350kW and beyond) to the vehicle compared to AC charging stations.
