HSD9 Surface Mount Photodiodes

Broadcom  HSD9 Surface Mount Photodiodes are available in a wide spectral range of sensitivity of 700nm to 1,100nm, with peak sensitivity at 940nm. These photodiodes support an angle of half sensitivity of  ±75 degrees. The HSD9 photodiodes are built with black epoxy that filters off visible  light, which then reduces unwanted noise from the visible light  range. These photodiodes are compatible with industry-standard automatic machine placement and infrared (IR) reflow soldering. Typical applications include office automation, home appliances, light curtains, and smoke  detectors.
