Minebea M Series Motors with Batteryless Absolute Encoders detect the rotor position in the absence of power, which eliminates the need for a backup battery. These encoders consist of magnetic sensors that track the angles of three gears that symbolize the hands of a clock. The Minebea M series batteryless encoders calculate the position of the output shaft from the angles of three gears. These encoders provide high-speed travel over long distances. The M series batteryless encoders offer short-distance positioning with low vibration and high accuracy. These encoders are ideal for laboratory and industrial automation applications.
