IXYS MCMA700P1600NCA Thyristor Module offers long-term stability in a ComPack package with direct copper bonded (DCB) Al₂O₃-ceramic and an industry-standard outline. This thyristor for line frequency features advanced power cycling, planar passivated chip, soldering pins for PCB mounting, and RoHS compliance. The module has 4800V isolation voltage, 1600V_RRM/DRM maximum repetitive reverse blocking voltage, 700A average forward current, and -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range. IXYS MCMA700P1600NCA Thyristor Module is ideal for applications such as line rectifying 50Hz/60Hz, soft-start AC motor control, DC motor control, power converters, AC power control, and lighting and temperature control.

MCMA Series High Powered Thyristor Modules

IXYS MCMA Series High Powered Thyristor Modules feature multilayer module construction with a direct copper bonding (DCB) technique. The devices also feature top-side electrical terminals with captured nuts, series-connected thyristor/diode, and thyristor/thyristor modules. Power semiconductor modules compared to discrete designs are the electrical isolation between the baseplate of the module and the parts subject to voltage (3.6kVRMS to 4.8kVRMS tested). These make possible the mount-down of any number of the same or different modules on a common heatsink. The modules are designed for adequate clearance and creepage distance resulting in Recognition by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).

IXYS MCMA65P1800TA and MCMA110P1800TA Thyristor Modules are dual phase-leg thyristors for line frequency with a planar passivated chip in an industry-standard TO-240AA package. The MCMA65P1800TA and MCMA110P1800TA Thyristor Modules feature an isolation voltage of 4800V, 1900V maximum non-repetitive reverse/forward blocking voltage, and 100µA reverse/drain current.
