They are housed in an SO16 package, which offers a coupler with a very small and thin footprint. Toshiba TLP290-4 and TLP291-4 Half-Pitch 4-ch Transistor Photocouplers feature a wide operating temperature of -55°C to +110°C, making them suitable for high-density, surface-mounting applications such as programmable controllers and hybrid ICs.
