VFS Series Common Mode Chokes

TDK VFS Series Common Mode Chokes are available with a high magnetic shield construction achieved by a ferrite magnetic material and compatible with high-density mounting. These filters are available in the 5045 version with dimensions of 5.0x5.0x4.5mm or the 6045 with dimensions of 6.0x6.0x4.5mm. The VFS Series Common Mode Chokes come in an impedance range of 52Ω to 1.605kΩ. These common mode chokes operate at a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Applications include refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and TVs.

In addition, these inductors provide broadband screening due to a low capacitance winding technique. Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode, Power Line Inductors, are ideal for power electronics and suppressing common-mode noises. Parasitics can have a significant effect on the noise attenuation and current rating of a common mode filter. Würth designed the WE-CMB series for minimal parasitic effects over its useful frequency bandwidth so it does what it is designed to do - get rid of the noise.
